Am I a good candidate for Laser vision correction?
The best candidates for LASIK and any other refractive laser surgery are patients using eyeglasses or contact lenses for myopia, astigmatism or hyperopia. You should be at least 18 years old and your prescription (numbers) should be stable.
If you have these major three in hand we do a detailed exam of your eyes including the tests measuring the shape, structure and strength of your cornea so you do not get into any trouble after this surgery.
After your exam and regarding the data we have obtained we will recommend you the best option for you and your eyes.
All the tests needed will be performed before your surgery in our eye center in Istanbul. If you have the exams and tests performed elsewhere you can send the to us in advance so we can guide you through possible laser eye surgery options.
